GCSE Exam Success

Sawston Village College pupils have been celebrating success in their GCSE examinations.

Overall, 95% of pupils achieved 5 A*- G grades. 76% gained 5 A*- C and 67 % gained 5 A*- C including English and Maths. The percentage of grades at either A* or A rose to 38% and 4 pupils achieved A* in all their subjects.

Jonathan Culpin, Principal, said We are delighted with the achievement of so many of our pupils, who have worked extremely hard for their GCSEs. In particular, there have been many impressive individual results, with 38% of all grades awarded either at A* or A grade, a significant improvement upon last year. We wish all of our departing Year 11s the very best for the future.
