Cambridgeshire County Council - Fair Processing Notice 2008/2009
Every school, education provider and early years setting in Cambridgeshire processes personal data about its pupils. This data may only be used or passed on for specific purposes allowed by the law.
The purpose of a Fair Processing Notice (FPN) is to inform pupils and parents about this information. The FPN shows what information is held, why it is held, and the third parties to whom it may be passed.
This year, Fair Processing Notices have been broken down into two different layers:
Layer One: must be provided to parents as a hard copy
Layer Two: the fully-comprehensive FPN with all relevant information about the use and process of pupil data.
